City Walk Chicago: Hide Park Highligts

Regular price €4.95

Hyde Park has always been a special place. Developed in the 1850s as a resort for wealthy Chicagoans, the region sat just far enough southwest from downtown that it enjoyed milder climes. The neighborhood rose to fame in the 1890s with the establishment of the University of Chicago and the World’s Columbian Exposition, and remains a jewel in the city’s crown. Clocking a little over an hour, this walk features Hyde Park highlights old and new.

This walk was carefully put together by Lauren Viera, author of The 500 Hidden Secrets of Chicago. It is INCLUDED IN THE GUIDE but can also be bought separately. Either way, this 3.4 miles/5,5 kilometre route will take you to hidden spots that most tourists never find.

The walk will be available for download as soon as your purchase is complete. The PDF file can be opened on mobile or printed.
