Six new restaurants, 5 bars, 5 adventurous cycle routes and a river ferry added to the 2020 guide
Since it was first published in 2013, the 500 Hidden Secrets of Antwerp has sought out the very best the city can offer. The guide covers restaurants, coffee bars, fashion hotspots, family-friendly places, bike trails and small hotels.
The 8th edition has just been released, complete with 34 new addresses. The newcomers include design café Amor, Grand Café Capital in the romantic city park, experimental cocktail bar Belroy’s Bijou and tiny fish bistro Mojo.
Also new this edition is a focus on adventurous cycle trails in Antwerp, architectural walks and the café scene in Borgerhout.
Plus a brand new ferry service that takes you to the far side of the River Scheldt and a hidden bar you might never find without our help.
Congratulations to all the new places listed in the guide! We don’t have space to list everywhere, but our aim is to guide visitors and locals to special places we find unique and original.
